PSVR Jackal Assault experience is coming out free for PS4 Infinite Warfare players.

Will update my thread, I like what Sony is doing with AAA partners and given them PSVR dev kits and some money to make free VR content in all of the games you usually buy. Sooner or later non PSVR owners will realize they have a lot of content they aren't using and will eventually decide to buy a PSVR to maximize the benefit the product they bought offers them. Excellent idea Sony.

Tomb Raider
Battlefront
Final Fantasy XV
CoD
Gran Turismo Sport
Moto Racer 4
Ace Combat 7
RE7
WRC 6
TrackMania Turbo

All AAA Titles you would normally purchase give you free VR content how could you say no to PSVR with a free content like that.

Hmm you're right. It's pretty ingenious.

If they can get Assassin Creed and Battlefield to provide free VR Content I feel like they could get all major AAA franchises to make an impact on Non PSVR owners.

As a matter of fact if R* really does owe some sort of exclusivity to Sony. Sony could make them do a exclusive PSVR mode to RD3 or something and that would propbably net them a few more PSVR sales.

I can't imagine something like GTA V ever running on PSVR, but I always thought an option to take a simple VR tour of Los Santos would be cool.

Isn't the VR Batman totally separate from the other Batmans?

I could see them including batman vr with the batman arkham collection which is rumored to be released around that time I think

I'm surprised they haven't teamed up with Ubi for some VR watch dogs 2 stuff, Ubi loves new tech and I'm sure they could throw a virtual trip into that game that involves VR return of that running over people game but.... In VR !

The press got some hands on time with this. Destructoid didn't like it but it sounds all right to me.

As the PSVR helmet (which I find to be a cut below the Vive or the Oculus, but the price is right) was slipped on, a quick controller rundown was given -- there's the option to boost with the left stick, pitch with the right, fire missiles with the left trigger (which paints up to three targets, Star Fox style), and shoot your machine-gun with the right trigger. Just like EVE Valykrie, missile lock-on is handled by actually moving your head to "look" at enemy ships. The entire affair is themed after the Infinite Warfare series, taking place in space.

In fact I'll go full bore with the Valkyrie comparisons, because that's basically what it is -- a flight simulation minigame in space, you're just battling AI instead of other players. There's a limited amount of airspace you're flying around in, the visuals are pretty basic (and not up to par with most VR experiences), and after around 10 minutes or so the demo ends. That's it.
