PS1 King's Field, which I purchased for $4.99 at Kmart, stands toe to toe with Hydlide NES as the worst videogame I have ever played. Abject trash.

A heads up, the developer Freshly Baked has a free game on Steam (strangely it came out in June) called The New Flesh. At a glance it looks interesting and has sort of the art style of Queens Domain but in a more modern setting.
