So right now I'm in Japan, and it's cool and all, but I wanna go back to Canada (preferably Toronto but it doesn't really matter) sometime around Dec '06, but my mom e-mailed me and said that there's a position open at the bank she works at (where I also worked for three years). She thinks I should go for it, and when I checked out the posting it was actually a position that I applied for when I was working there!
Basically I'm going to apply and all that, but I don't know how to get around the fact that I'm in Japan NOW. Is it alright to specify in a cover letter that you're currently residing in another country, but are planning to return soon? I guess I can always BS this to make it look like I'm coming home within the next month or so, but I wanna know if my chances of getting the job will be lower because of my situation.
