Microsoft prevents me to download Direct X 9.0c in the "save target as" on my hard drive but it's requesting me to have internet connection to get it. I don't want to install on this new computer (emachine). I'm trying to save the Direct X 9.0c in "save file" on my hard drive on this (emachine) and then to transfer the file to my old computer (Windows Me). But it asking me to have internet connection in order to get the DX 9.0c. BTW, I don't have DirectX 9.0 a & b.

So, my question is how do I get Direct X 9.0c in "save file" ? How do you guys get yours? Should i bother running out to bookstore to buy Direct X books that came with the cd or am i wasting my time here.

AFAIK, you can't save MS Update on disk. For DX9, try buying a very recent game that says it requires DX9 to run. You will have it on CD, just explore it and install.

Same as end user version, just packaged so u can include on game discs.
