Question about MGS2..

This was one of the games I beat before selling my PS2(only kept it for about two months :lol).

Anyway, remember that big guy from MGS on PSOne with the giant aircraft gun? There's a scene in MGS2 where there's a miniature figure of him laying next to a flashlight and it projects his shadow on the wall. Did that have any meaning in the game or was it just some sort of easter egg?

BTW, is Twin Snakes any good? I rebought GCN(still floating around in a UPS truck some where) and I was thinking of picking it up along with Metroid Prime 2, Skies of Arcadia, and RE4.

There wasn't any meaning to it other than to scare you into thinking that he'd somehow returned.

As for Twin Snakes, its atleast worth checking out to see the cutscenes. Some are pretty nice.

Vulcan Raven is just a Easter Egg in MGS 2. If you never played MGS1 then you'll like Twin Snakes, but nostalgia will ruin it for you if you played the PS1 version.

You mean raven? Yes I believe it was just an easter egg

and the twin snakes is good, but I suggest you just rent it.

1. Yeah, its just an easter egg thing "HAHA remember him!" kinda thing.

2. I Enjoyed Twin Snakes, if you have never played MGS I don't reccomend it. Being a fan of that game I enjoyed it more than I normally would have. The John Woo action shit got on my nerves quite a bit, like Snake jumping on a rocket etc.

I say go for it, but not alot of games will equal the expierence I had back during my first run with MGS.

Yeah, it was an Easter Egg. If you shoot the little figurine projecting the shadow, he starts shooting tennis balls or something like crazy around the room, if I remember right.

$20 is a steal for Twin Snakes. The graphics are amazing in some areas, and shitty some other areas. The controls aren't as bad as people made them to be.

My favorite scenes(graphically) was the room after you beat Ocelot in the gun fight. The lighting and shadowing were f'ing AMAZING. Also, the fight with Vulcan.

P.S. I still think the close up shots of Liquid Snake's face is some the best graphics i've seen this generation.
