How do I get Shockwave to work with this thing?

I keep getting:

Shockwave Error: 15
The Shockwave plug-in cannot be used on Internet Explorer. Please install Shockwave from www.macromedia.com

I need Shockwave to use the flashcards feature at http://bcs.worthpublishers.com/myers7e/ (Pyschology AP site). I uninstalled Shockwave using the "Add or Remove Programs" from Windows XP and then install Shockwave, highlighting Mozilla Firefox 1.0PR. When I go back to the site, it doesn't give me the error when I try to access the Flashcards section, but nothing shows up :/

Edit: Apologies, that didn't work. Hm. Just use IE. That's what the IE View extension is for.

Edit2: Ah, does work... you have to close any active browser windows first then open it again.

Tried it and it asked me download the plug-in from http://sdc.shockwave.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi? , auto install failed so i downloaded the full version from there. When i opened it up it said it was ready to install to mozilla/firefox. After install I opened the website again, went to flashcards and it worked just fine. =\

I just started using the 1.0 PR release and it crashes a lot damnit!! I can't get that plug-in or WM player plug-in to work either.

I ended up downloading Netscape and using it from there :/ 1.0PR is kinda...not very plug-in friendly. I can't get WMP plug-in, Shockwave or Flashplayer. I can't use IE because for some reason my IE won't work anymore. It just says "Page cannot be displayed" for every page I try to access. I have NO clue what's wrong with it.
