I've got a bunch of racially diverse friends, probably due to my family and upbringing. I was wondering if anyone else is like me and has a hard time of integrating friends together due to race.

Like my white friends have very little in common with my black or interracial friends. I love basketball, but most of my white friends couldn't tell if you if Gilbert Arenas was guard or a center. Whereas none of my non-white friends would know shit about NIN or crap like that.

I'd like to get them all together, but I could of worry about them not getting along.

EDIT: MOVE TO OFF-TOPIC, TOO MUCH GAMING POSTS CORRUPT MY TAB.

kind of like how white bread paul walker wasn't really accepted by the gung ho mexicano/latino street racers in The Fast and the Furious?

Sit them round for a barbeque like they did in that movie.

Smash Bros. We had a Smash Bros. club at college and it was one of the most ethnically diverse clubs there was. If there's one thing that bridges people together (well, guys at least)... it's games.

You said it yourself, they lack a common interest. It reminds my of Chris Rock skit about wives trying to get their husbands to hang out with each other. If you just try to "hook" them it probably won't go so well.

Try to find a common interest and plan an event like paintball, poker game, watching the MJ trial or something like that.
