Radio plays (literally) like Shakespeare

Why is there no collection of radio plays available on the web?

This was a guilty pleasure of mine as a kid and I would use them as white noise when falling asleep.

I want to listen to old Sci Fi. gangsta, melodramatic stuff on the radio.

Anyone know of a good place that archives old radio serials?

Some quick googling offers promising results. I’d suggest looking into it yourself. I can’t imagine neogaf has too many radio play aficionados.

I was hoping somebody had an app or something, trying to play old Superman radio shorts over youtube is killing my data.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
OP I can't help you specifically, but nowadays there has been a pretty big revival for stuff like this in the form of podcasts.

There are a lot of fiction podcasts out there that are well produced, and essentially recapture the old serialized radio broadcast vibes of back in the day.

if you are in a British comedy sort of mood you can't go wrong with "The Goon Show". this is basically Monty Python as a radio show.

lots of full episodes are on youtube. warning: this was made in the 50's/60's with those cultural touchstones so keep that in mind.
