Last week At Ease reported on 'Kid A' at Apple's iTunes store, Thom commented on that as well. Just like the 'The Bends', the album disappeared from the store after only a short period of time.

HTTT was awesome. Where I end and you begin, 2+2=5, Punchup at a wedding, wolf at the door, etc.. are all great.

So why dosen't Thom want his albums on iTunes?

because they allow you to buy the songs individually? I can't tall from that fucking gibberish.

HTTT was obviously too subtle for some people. :p

But yes, there's an mp3 of their new song, "Arpeggi" online. Really quite beautiful, but it's uncertain whether it'll end up on LP7. We'll see...

edit: The messages on the official RHMB get deleted after a couple of hours or so. That's why you can't find them, diablos.

The string usage is quite nice, but the rest is pretty much garbage. Jesus I hope this isnt a good indicator for album 7.

That last post I made, I don't even remember making it. Descredit what I said. I still don't like the album, though.

The new song, though, it's really, really not good.

I really like the new song. I'd be happy if Radiohead ventured further into the weird esoteric minimalist realm, and left any HTTT-style "returns to form" in the studio.

I like parts of HTTT, but it really feels like Radiohead treading water to me. There are plenty of good pop bands out there. They don't need to be one of them.

Two new songs (played live by Thom himself on an acoustic guitar), "Last Flowers 'Til the Hospital/Glass Flowers" and "House of Cards" can be found here.

I like them, but I was hoping that the new record would be more angular and electronic and less standard guitar rocking.. but then again it's hard to dupliacate IDM on an acoustic guitar :p. But.. "Reckoner" has been reworked for the new record, as well as "Nude (Big Ideas -- Don't Get Any)".. soo I dunno. :-\

It certainly wouldn't hurt Radiohead to go back to guitar driven rock once again.
I want to hear them do more of a jazzy kind of record - kind of like Big Boots or the Paranoid Android demo from '97. That's a really tight, unique sound the band has that they never really took advantage of...

Hail To The Thief kicked ass in lots of ways. Wolf at the Door kicks ass. One of the creepiest songs I have heard in a while, although a live version from a year or so before the album hit was creepier. Slower. More methodical.
