My friend recommended I drink red bull before our lacrosse games to get pumped up. He said he did it before football games and its effects were awesome.
So I did it today (drank two of them.) I was definitely more pumped up then usual and could feel this energy rushing throughout my body. I played well also. So I see some benefits.
I'm reading up on it now, however, and am getting some pretty negative, scary information.

Now, after drinking these red bulls, I'm waiting around two hours before playing. While playing, I'm doing lot's of running with physical contact here and there.
Anyone know if this shit is really that dangerous?

Last year, the coroner at the inquest into the death of 18-year-old Ross Cooney from Limerick, called for more research into the effect of energy drinks.
Ross died of sudden adult death syndrome after a basketball match. Hours earlier he had drunk three cans of Red Bull.
