Striking Distance Studios created a "sci-fi Hades" with [Redacted] that offers fast-paced, entertaining gameplay. For a solid price under 25€, this offer is a great game for Roguelike and Twinstick Shooter fans alike.

[REDACTED] takes the world of Callisto Protocol into a brand-new genre for an experience that roguelike fans will surely spend hours conquering.
MonsterVine - James Carr - 3.5 / 5
[REDACTED] is another action roguelite in a sea of games in that genre, and while it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it does have some unique ideas. A focus on fast-paced speed and defeating rivals throughout each run provides a nice twist and the fluid action matches that speed, making for a fun experience. The narrative is lacking, but it also doesn’t take up too much time anyway, letting you focus on slaughtering enemies as fast as you can.
Saving Content - Scott Ellison II - 4 / 5
While being in a penitentiary is no easy task, being in one overrun by zombies and others trying to escape makes it even harder. Striking Distance Studios really knocked it out of the park with this one. [REDACTED] is a challenging and rewarding roguelike experience, where the tight gameplay loop, engaging combat, and oppressive atmosphere will keep you hooked for hours on end. [REDACTED] was a total surprise, but comes packing with deep systems, and a delightful arsenal to help fight your way to freedom that I have to expose.
SteamDeckHQ - Oliver Stogden - 4 / 5
[REDACTED] is a game the developers should be proud of. The combat is fast-paced and smooth, and the variety of upgrades keeps the gameplay fresh, even though the world is quite repetitive. While I wish the game had more content so it lasted longer, it is a budget title and priced accordingly. I wouldn't say no to some DLC that added a set of biomes to play through, though that might be difficult with the game closely following The Callisto Protocol's world.
As far as how [REDACTED] plays on the Steam Deck, I can't offer any criticisms here. The game is basically flawless. The controls work well, the graphics can be run on their highest settings, and we can keep a modest TDP limit, all of which make [REDACTED] a great game to play on your Steam Deck.
