I've listened to the first 5 songs... there's going to be a shitstorm around this album. It wouldn't be an Autechre album without a little controversy and fanboy meltdowns!

Let me guess, it's more introverted than ever? Autechre stopped being interesting some time ago, although as with every damned release I'll give it a chance.

Hmm. I would say that Autechre has become more interesting since their Amber & Tri Repetae days.

Yeah I tried this yesterday to much applause http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=233537

Anyway, I LOVE Untilted, I think it's one of their best.. Draft 7.30 took a lot of time to get into, but after I worked myself into that one I've loved all their new stuff. They've had a wonderful ability to mix rhythm and melody in chaos.

Still, after 4 listens to Quaristice I think it's better - fantastic, absolutely fantastic. I love their new album structure of lots of small tracks - this stuff is pretty freaking varied and I love their new ventures into ambient and harmonic music.

Holy shit... sorry man, I totally didn't see the thread. I received an email from Bleep.com this morning and I thought I would post it. I know there are a few Autechre fans here.

I've only listened to a few tracks (at work now) but it just sounds so sonically rich...
