My 3G is starting to look a bit rugged after long and faithful service. Is it possible to order a new casing? Since you remove the casing anyway when changing the battery, wouldn't it be possible to just attatch a new casing? I can't find any online though.

And I just called an Apple store - the guy said it was impossible to replace the casing. WTF?

With Apple's battery replacement policy, don't they just swap your iPod for another one? I think they recently halved the price for doing it as well.
