Dude, we've been over this, there is already a thread about it
SH2 remake released on the 8th of October last year with a 1 year console exclusive period per the pre-release marketing.
We're about to reach the end of that exclusivity period.

The news is sort of expected.
But we *REALLY* need to stop sourcing Dusk "LEON WILL BE AT TGS" Golem for any new news from now on.
Guy has a very bad track record.
Born from a Wish scenario that was added to the Xbox port of original Sh2 and later re-releases of SH2 on PS2 and the later HD super-master remaster.
It wasn't in this SH2 remake.

On one hand, Born From a Wish was really short when it originally came out, so it wasn't a huge deal, just some nice backstory for Maria.
On the other, the SH2 remake really did a pretty good job of expanding what was already there to make the game longer, so I bet any expansion content would be the same.

Not recently, no.
To be clear, the news of a port is inevitable as the game's 1 year console exclusivity is about to end on the 8th. but Dusk has been hella wrong about stuff recently. Multiple RE related goofs on his part which he brushes off as "oh plans changed".

Yeah he completely tanked his reputation with those insane tweets. The FUD around PS5 was crazy back when it was released. Never seen anything like it before.

Not sure specifically but that wasn't anything more than an educated guess anyone could have made.
To be more specific, he was adamant that he had good sources that Leon will be revealed in RE9 in the TGS week, which didn't happen. Before that, he was adamant that RE9 will be starring Leon and Jill, which wasn't true, and he also laid out a plotline that RE9 was going to be about some cult of the moon and based on an island, which was also not true at all.
Even folks on Era are seriously considering black-listing him as a source now.
The last thing he was vaguely correct about was that free Silent Hill small game that was released last year but even that he was half wrong saying that it'd be some kind of ARG related thing about getting SMS messages etc etc.

It was fine, nothing outstanding. It was just like a few hours of SH2 but playing as Maria, there's one more character but you only hear his voice.
Not sure how/if they're gonna expand on it.

I paid good money for this Dynex!
I really just want a stuttering fix for the PC version - I completely gave up on the PS5 Pro version being any good. If they're putting out DLC, that's a really good opportunity to make things right with this. I still have yet to actually play the thing because I've been waiting for a fix and just lost interest at some point.
