Can't find RR or Wipeout for PSX in JP or the US, meaning they might've both sold under a million (checking Magic Box only).

Wait, 939, 413 is US only? It didn't release in Europe and Japan? Or just no numbers from it there?

Anyway, thx for the Ridge Racers numbers. I really think Wipeout and Ridge Racer PSX did really well if I can recall, but I'm having a little debate some place and that's why I need the info

I thought they did too. I know there's a place with US numbers, but I can't access them right now.

According to sonycowboy, TMB's done 941,585 so far. I don't know about Japan, but Shrine of Data didn't turn up anything. As far as Europe goes... No clue. Those are usually the hardest ones to get data on.

Wipeout 1 is at 221,230 units as of October 2002 (USA only). It was selling 0 units per month then, so I don't think it's been boosted up much.

PSX Ridge Racer was at 547,234 units (USA only).

The 1.5 million only accounts for wipeout 1, not for the other wipeout games that were released after it.

I will look for ridge racer info tomorrow if nobody else has found them. Gonna sleep now

Ridge racer sold between the 100-200k in Europe it was outsold significantly by Wipeout in Europe. In japan it sold between 400-800k. Not higher and not lower since it didn't sold a million in Japan. Rage Racer sold 571,107 in Japan.

The Twisted Metal series has never been big in Japan. Only 1 and 2 even came out here, by the looks of it. Neither of them made the top 30.
