Jesus christ. One of the guys found a full strat for getting through capsim, and he's going to tell the others in the group later.

I told him I wouldn't do that shit, and he got pissed--of course, I'm probably going to be horridly outvoted. Which is nice.

So what do I do here? Wait until they decide to, make an ultimatim, and rat 'em out if they do--or wait and risk the chance that we'll be found out and hey I'll fail the class in my last semester.

You make a good point--but then I'd be in a position where I couldn't finish any of the group projects for the rest of the semester unless I'd be re-positioned in another group.

Well then I guess it comes down to which option do you like less. I mean the risk of failing a class seems like something that should be a primary concern; and wouldn't the re-positioning be easy to do? Or are the groups already established in such a way that re-organization would be difficult? Can you go at any of these projects alone?

I'd actually say that using a set strategy to "cheat" your way through capsim is more representative of the way capitalism really works than doing the program honestly.

Fuck that shit. If someone is going to try to cheat in COLLEGE, you don't want to be a part of it. Get out of that group as soon as you can; you're really going to regret it if the group goes through with it and gets caught. It could mean the end of your college career.

Agreed, there's more at stake than failing that one class. You could get kicked completely out and have this as a blemish on your record forever

Best choice of actoin is telling them you don't want to cheat and if they do that you'll snitch. It saves you from telling the teacher and then being assigned to another group. Unless you hate the group you're with and would like to see them kicked out of school... then just wait and rat them out.
