The premise sounded interesting, but knowing it was a FOX show I wasn't going in with high hopes.

So we flash back to 1986 and ooh one of the girls is dancing to Madonna while wearing appropiate garb. Obviously the show went all out to portray the time period. WRONG! Not even five minutes later one of the main dudes visit his buddy in the hospital with a bright pink polo shirt worn over a black one both with popped collars. What's the point? Tuning in knowing nothing about it you would think it's just another OC knock-off.

Yeah, I was really looking forward to this show based on the previews but its REALLY REALLY bad. So far its been one cliche after another with no end in sight and the acting is terrible.

Exactly. They'll get up to around 1992 or so before it gets shitcanned. Then they'll force you to buy a DVD set of a shitcanned show in order to catch the rest of the series.

Actually, if it's cancelled after a few episodes, they're not likely to finish filming the season. At least, that's how it's done with most shows -- in this case, I guess they may make an exception due to the serialized format and DVD.
