Revolution Boot Screen (fanmade)

If the hardcore Nintendo contingent would apply their energy to feeding the world, hunger would be eradicated within hours.

I think Nintendo definately needs to implement that chime.

The backgound animation makes it look like a soda commercial.

We had almost 6 months of the Nintendo Geekbase showing of there "l337 phtoshopz skillz" with Revolution controller fakes, and we got the next month flooded with GUI fakes.

FFS Nintendo release something and stop this madness, even me a Die hard Nintendo fan can't take this "OMG TEH REVOLUTION INTERFACE" bullshit everyday.

Look dude I'm like a professional UI designer and in my professional UI designer opinion these are professionally designed UI screens.

I MAEK INTERFACES

Besides, it's cell-shaded pie, since they're not going to incorporate advanced flaky crust mapping this is all they can do.

The GUIs piss me off. First of all, they're ugly and generic or trying to be too cool for school. Secondly, the GUI is the last thing Nintendo will show. First you get the the movies, then you get the gameplay, then you get the GUI.

Finally, I like how they spend hours on these only to fail to realize that Nintendo will use some of the revmotes features for the interface. The bootups animation will be short and the menu navagation will done using the revmotes features and not the traditional d-pad way. I'm assuming a point and click interface, a drag and drop type one or a 3D yet simple one.

ya know, if no one posted in these threads - instead of posting one line bitchfests - they'd all wither and die.

Now, with that obligatory scolding out of the way...

I kind of like the first one.

There have been tons of GUI made in the past few weeks and joystiq as well as DAS games has wrote about many of them. Also to automanuges first post it the full date is May 17, 2005 which is the date of the nintendo pre E3 conference where the revolution was unvielied for the first time. There have been way to many GUIs the last one I found on Saturday my boss wouldn't let me post my story about it, hes sick of them. How do all these Nintendo Fans have so much time?

What happened to that other supposed Revolution boot-up leak, the blue underwater one with bubbles.

Was quite good, but went on too long. Used to be on Google, but it's not on there anymore.
