I've been thinking (something that can be VERY dangerous, ha!) ...... what if the Robotech Dream came alive, on Revolution ?
Revolution might be the perfect system to revive the Dream. of Robotech. with Revolution's all but confirmed gyroscopic-sensory controls and heavily rumored 3D display capabilities of some kind.
can you imagine an awesome Robotech or Macross game on a system like this?
Robotech Ultra 64 Renders
man, this rendition of Robotech graphics, which are pre-rendered of course, would've been doable on Gamecube or Xbox for certain, at 60fps. those CGI images were drool-age 10 years ago and don't even look bad today.
lets not look back at the actual game that GameTek was making for Nintendo64 in 1996-1998. that was horrible. just forget about it.
with that said, imagine graphics even BETTER than those awesome renders
(Macrosshaded (tm) graphics) on Revolution, with Gameplay by EAD, graphics by Factor 5, with help from Namco, Sega, Konami and all the big guns. it would have to be a collaboration. no single company could pull it off the way it should be done. all ideas pooled together.
kind of like how Sony IBM Toshiba built the Cell, but this is for software, a game. a dream. a Robotech.
