Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven, an underrated masterpiece, was released 20 years ago today

The movie is great and time has proven it to be so. When it originally came out it was a mess.

I actually liked the movie before the director's cut. The directors cut is a completely different beast though. one of my favorite movies of all time.

Honestly, Gladiator, Troy, Kingdom of Heaven back to back. We didnt know how good we had it back then. Movies feel so cheap nowadays.

Not really a fan of Orlando Bloom but I do enjoy this movie. Never seen the theatrical version though, just the director's cut which I picked up on a whim while shopping.

I need to watch this again, amazing film, last time I watched ir would have been 2012 so well overdue a watch.

The sets and visuals of this movie is second to none. Alongside that opening in Gladiator in the snow. The costumes and sets look out of this world.

Ridley Scott made some masterpieces but i've never seen this movie.
UHD releases later this month, maybe i'll give it a chance.

Theatrical cut is good, the director's cut is excellent. Both versions suffer from deep historical inaccuracies with a clear axe to grind, though.

The sound track is God-tier (no pun intended) and should've won more than a few awards. A couple of the tracks are in my general rotation to this day, and I revisit it often.

Directors cut is one of the best movies of this century imho. Blockbuster with a major B

Ridley Scott did a magnificent job making Orlando Bland look at least a little bit convincing.

Horrible actor who was only cast because of Lord of the Rings.

Movie would've been so much better with an actual good actor in the lead. DC version is by far the best version.
