RiMS Racing is the first motorcycling simulation game that combines a realistic riding challenge with engineering and mechanics! Ride the world's most powerful bikes and optimise their performance by swapping out parts and analysing data in real time.

It's nice that RIDE series is getting a competitor, maybe Milestone won't be so eager to milk their fans with DLC's and charging for removed content.

We're excited to reveal the first gameplay trailer for RiMS Racing! Experience the thrill of a +200hp motorbike as you navigate world-famous circuits and spectacular road races. Customise your machine with over 500 fully licensed components. Apply your expertise on the fly with the Motorbike Status Check (MSC) - a real-time analysis of the motorbike's status and performance. All of this comes together to provide a thrilling and rewarding motorbike simulation experience! #RiMSRacing is coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 this August.

During the NACON Connect, the microphone was handed over to Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo from the group The Bloody Beetroots, who announced his contribution to the game's original soundtrack. Among the exclusive tracks, players already hear a glimpse of Ezekiel, in RiMS Racing's new gameplay demonstration.

#RiMSRacing will be available August 19, 2021 in Europe and August 24 in the Americas, on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

It look's fine, nothing ground braking however I hate the way the player lean in corner, I feel it's way to excessive.

Does seem weird, doesn't it?
I'm not too familiar with motorbike racing so maybe this is a different version or CC in Rims (riders can of course go real low on a lean, down to putting a shoulder over the ground,) but from what I always about knew bike racing it was about the knees coming to the surface and the rest of the body centering over that as a central mass, so you can shift more of your weight in. From the looks of this clip below, even when they put their whole bodies down on the asphalt, they're still largely keeping their heads level to keep a good eye on the road, they're not leading their turns with their helmets on the ground. Then again, it's a little tough to get a full perspective from what the game is doing since the behind-the-rider cam doesn't exist in real life.

EDIT: Apparently, the lean angle and hang-on approach differs per rider, so maybe the specific rider in this Rims hot lap video is based on somebody who gets real low?

Yeah MotoGP riders do lean a lot. It never bothered me in MotoGP 20. It just a small nitpick tbh. Track details seems fine and the whole bike upgrade & customization is nice, something new. I won't spend 90$ Canadian on it. Seems like a perfect candidate for GamePass :messenger_grinning_smiling:
