RIP
Far too young.

Australian actor Julian McMahon has died, the actor passing away in Clearwater, Florida following a private battle with cancer. He was just 56.
He really broke through though with his roles as Cole Turner in "Charmed" and Dr. Christian Troy in "Nip/Tuck," snagging awards nominations for his work in the latter.

He jumped to film playing Doctor Doom in the two "Fantastic Four" films in the 2000s along with appearing in movies like "Premonition," "Red," and "Faces in the Crowd".
More recently he led CBS crime drama "FBI: Most Wanted" and played the enigmatic Jonah in Hulu's "Runaways". His final roles were in the Nic Cage-led "The Surfer" film, and coming full circle playing the Australian Prime Minister in Netflix's 2025 quirky murder mystery "The Residence".

Wow. I've recently been rewatching nip took. Goes abit shit in the last season but there was a story like where the character the actor plays gets cancer

Fuck, seriously? I missed this thread when this was first posted. That sucks, he was really good in Charmed. It was lame how poorly the 2000's Fantastic Four films' scripts wrote the villains (then the 2015 film was like, "hold my beer"), as he was a good actor pick for Dr. Doom, but the scripts just devolved the character into a generic greedy businessman, so he never got a chance to fully shine in the role.

My condolences to his loved ones. RIP.
