Yeah, tonight's initial showing is already over on the EC, but god damn. There needs to be a thread about this!!!!

Cannon Ball Run + Vin Diesel + MASK + Speed Racer + ChiPs + Bigfoot + Dukes of Hazzard + MARIO KART!!!!!!

And that's about all I need to say about that!

The show's still rocking, though I still feel the first is the best. Nonetheless, we haven't even seen most of what they showed in the preliminary commercials, so I hope they still have a lot left to go in the season.

They had about 10 actors doing cameos this ep. I like the show and the format will keep it going for awhile. Still dying to see the Kill Bill spoof with Jesus slaying Hasidic Jews in the House of Blue Leaves on the way to Santa.

It was basically the entire cast of That 70's Show + a ton more.

Not to mention Burt Reynolds. The race segment was fantastic. It had everything you could possibly want.

Still, the best part of this episode was Santa calling out "Bring out yer dead!" :lol

Those quick little things between big segments are what really make the show great.

Has anyone else realized that it's perhaps the best animated show on AS?

It's good but I like Futurama better. Anyone else see the bump that said they got their highest ratings yet for Futurama last week eventhough they have been showing it for 2 years. Crazy. Hope Fox gets a clue.

I think I'm too old to "get" the appeal of Adult Swim, but I'm not even that old yet. :(

It just strikes me as poorly animated fodder for the Attention Deficit Disorder generation.

I finally caught Robot Chicken and was terribly disappointed. It's a less funny version of Twisted Toyfare Theater, which I highly suggest you at least flip through if you enjoy Robot Chicken.

The lack of Futurama love does cause me great pain though. Oh, for shame.

On the upside, it may be for the best that the series ended so that it didn't have to fizzle out, or outlive it's welcome on television. :(

Do they do the Dawn of the Dead mall theme at the end of every episode?

From the two I've seen it's just like two guys making chicken noises during the end credits...

Agreed, but I don't count it. I mean original AS shows.

It's made by former Twisted Mego Theatre creative staff. :p

MEGO, NOT TOYFARE. Using "Toyfare" in that is an abomination against the awesomeness.

Pfft. In two years Fox will finally stop kidding itself and become renamed to The Reality Show Network...

I thought that's what you meant but it wasn't worded that way. That being said I've laughed more when I've caught Harvey Birdman or Sealab. I do like Robot Chicken. It uses the throw everything at the wall and see what sticks kind of comedy so it's a little uneven but when it hits it's golden. It should be fresh for awile too with it's ability to spoof anything and not have to be tied down to ongoing characters as well as having only 10 minutes.

Actually, I take back when I said, since I forot about Ventrue Brothers. :)

But yeah, I'm generally not a fan of the throw everything at the wall comedy either, or the over-use of pop cultural references, but in this instance, it works, and they do it pretty damn well. Again, it helps if you grew up with the toy so you can related, but little things like the Noah's Ark skit shows they can make anything funny.

When I read this it reminded me how much I marked out when I saw Matt Trakker and the M.A.S.K. reference during the race. Like I said when it hits it's golden.

Tivo-ed it last night. Watched it, giggled a few times, then promptly wiped it from the hard drive.
I could see a group of stoned frat boys laughing at it, but GA seriously overhyped this show, as i was expeting more.

I have to wonder if most people who watch the show, and AS, even got that as. I sure as hell did!

Well, considering Robot Chicken *is* pretty much Twisted Toyfare Theatre (same guys and all)....

I'm more amazed that they used Jayce's vehicle from Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors.

Ahaha @ The Mario Karts. Shame they didn't grab Charles Martinet for the skit. I just hate it when Wario hasn't got his correct voice samples [Like the Mario Party 1-3 games].
