tralfazz said:They had about 10 actors doing cameos this ep. I like the show and the format will keep it going for awhile. Still dying to see the Kill Bill spoof with Jesus slaying Hasidic Jews in the House of Blue Leaves on the way to Santa.
Not to mention Burt Reynolds. The race segment was fantastic. It had everything you could possibly want.ManaByte said:It was basically the entire cast of That 70's Show + a ton more.
You forgot Night Rider.Belfast said:Yeah, tonight's initial showing is already over on the EC, but god damn. There needs to be a thread about this!!!!
Cannon Ball Run + Vin Diesel + MASK + Speed Racer + ChiPs + Bigfoot + Dukes of Hazzard + MARIO KART!!!!!!
And that's about all I need to say about that!

tralfazz said:It's good but I like Futurama better. Anyone else see the bump that said they got their highest ratings yet for Futurama last week eventhough they have been showing it for 2 years. Crazy. Hope Fox gets a clue.
The Take Out Bandit said:I finally caught Robot Chicken and was terribly disappointed. It's a less funny version of Twisted Toyfare Theater, which I highly suggest you at least flip through if you enjoy Robot Chicken.

FortNinety said:Agreed, but I don't count it. I mean original AS shows.
tralfazz said:I thought that's what you meant but it wasn't worded that way. That being said I've laughed more when I've caught Harvey Birdman or Sealab. I do like Robot Chicken. It uses the throw everything at the wall and see what sticks kind of comedy so it's a little uneven but when it hits it's golden. It should be fresh for awile too with it's ability to spoof anything and not have to be tied down to ongoing characters as well as having only 10 minutes.
FortNinety said:Actually, I take back when I said, since I forot about Ventrue Brothers.
But yeah, I'm generally not a fan of the throw everything at the wall comedy either, or the over-use of pop cultural references, but in this instance, it works, and they do it pretty damn well. Again, it helps if you grew up with the toy so you can related, but little things like the Noah's Ark skit shows they can make anything funny.
tralfazz said:When I read this it reminded me how much I marked out when I saw Matt Trakker and the M.A.S.K. reference during the race. Like I said when it hits it's golden.

It just strikes me as poorly animated fodder for the Attention Deficit Disorder generation.

The lack of Futurama love does cause me great pain though. Oh, for shame.
On the upside, it may be for the best that the series ended so that it didn't have to fizzle out, or outlive it's welcome on television.![]()
