We need, at the very least, more Cheap Trick. The lack of "I Want You To Want Me" is almost criminal.
Also, "Born to Run". I know I've said this before. I've also said it would come close to being a great album release (it has songs that don't work though so maybe a "best of" style bundle would make more sense than a straight full album release), but the title track is just so amazingly produced and has that sort of massive arena rock star feeling that this game really feeds off of.
It's not my favorite genre of music by a long shot, but classic arena rock is one of the things that these games do best.
Oh and more Foreigner. I definitely thought "If that doesn't have 'Jukebox Hero' something is terribly wrong" when information on Guitar Hero was first being revealed and I'm perhaps one of the few people on here who loves the song in RB, but it fits the bill perfectly. How can you resist "I Wanna Know What Love Is?" (answer: very easily. None of that shit here ever).
Meat Loaf as well. A three-song pack would probably be all we'll ever need or just "Bat Out of Hell" as a single for that matter.
Not having a torrential flood of Cream is a clearly a crime against nature. Maybe it's lack of masters because "Crossroads" and "Sunshine of Your Love" were both in various Guitar Hero iterations. I'd rather have Cream than solo Clapton, not only is it objectively better, but it's better suited to the game.
Beg list summary:
Cheap Trick to include "I Want You to Want Me"
Bruce Springsteen to include "Born to Run"
Foreigner as long as shitty ballads are completely absent
Meat Loaf to include and possible be entirely comprised of "Bat Out of Hell"
Cream because Cream are fucking awesome and Clapton practically defined the concept of a guitar hero
