Sorry Bebs and co. i'm staying at a friends and we were introducing a music game nublet to the drums. I got pissed when I netted my friend 25gs for full comboing a song on vocals. Jeeeeerk :lol :lol :lol
 
*Play Bioshock 2 for an hour, nearing the end*

*Game freezes, lose an hour of progress*

*Have no desire to ever play Bioshock 2 again*

I'm part of that group that doesn't watch wrestling for the wrestling. I prefer the stories. Actual wrestling only entertains me for a little while.

It worked out, McBradders. When Pedro couldn't make it you were online so I asked, and when you were biz we made Ronabo play Bass, so all was well. We'll play another time. :)

Xev, Pedro, I was on for a bit, but didn't see either of you, so we'll have to try another time as well. The lead singer for the Sweet Little Honey Bees tempted me to score duel vox while I was waiting and now I'm beat. (In more ways than one!)

I just failed expert drums at 96% during the charted big rock ending on "Push Push (Lady Lightning)"

(it was my first time playing it)

I guess since it's charted it can't really be called a big rock ending...
 
Can someone help me out? I'm a bit confused on this Rock Band/Rock Band Network thing.

I just got Rock Band 1 from a friend. I've been playing through it and it's been seriously fun. (I haven't played any GH/RB games since GH3, so it's been a whiiiile.) I heard there was now Flight of the Conchords DLC but I can't find it in the music store. So I search and find it's on the Rock Band Network. So... uh, how is that different from the music store? How do I get to that music? Is it something that's only available to people with Rock Band 2?

I have RB on my X360, btw.

Yeah, the RBN store is not accessible on the RB1 disc. If you an find direct links you can download whatever RBN song you want them from xbox.com. Other than that, the RB2 disc is the only other way to get to the songs.
 
XNA content? I'm in California... I assume the NA part of that is North America?

Also, thanks for the quick replies guys. I tried searching "conchords" on Xbox.com and didn't get any results, so I guess I'll just have to do without for now. :(

--Wait. If I borrow RB2 from a friend, can I download the Conchords tracks and then play them in RB1, since you say if I can get them on Xbox.com I can DL them around the RBN? :O

Edit- HOLY SHIT I found them on Xbox.com YESSSSSS

So just to make sure, if I download these Conchords songs from xbox.com, even though they're under RB2, I can play them in RB1 correct?
 
XNA is MS's community creation thing. It's the Indie Games stuff in the Marketplace. If you're in NA, then you're gold.

Also, there should be a list somewhere of all the RBN tracks and their XBox.com links.

And last question - Any DLC I download for RB1, when I get RB2 I can play it in that without having to redownload it or paying to import it into RB2, right? It'll just see I have the songs downloaded? Or do I have to DL them again/pay to transfer them?
 
It was fun watching you do the drum solo's on Africa and Complexity of Light. Didn't have anything to play so I could just watch, pretty sweet stuff. Also, we got the gold star on Complexity of Light on the very last note :lol
 
Aww bummer. Well thanks anyways guys. It's nice to know that eventually I'll be able to do away with my RB1 disc and just import everything to RB2 for $5. That's not too bad at all.

Out of curiosity, what are the songs that can't be copied?

Also, I know this is a RB thread, but I have World Tour coming in the mail on Tuesday, and do the GH games follow the same DLC/importing rules as RB? Or will I still need all the separate discs for that?
 
Paranoid, Run To The Hills and Enter Sandman don't copy over. GH games aren't as import friendly like the RB games, so you need to save your discs.
 
While checking just for fun I went into a quickband play and actually found somebody playing online. Color me shocked that anybody would still be playing that POS.

The song selection screen is so awful now that I have to wade through 800+ songs. I can't believe I used to play that game everyday like this :lol
 
Huge thanks to Bebe and Ronabo, as well as Gout and his sister. That was some of the most fun I've had in the game in a while, all thanks to having a great and competent group to play with.

I think I've said before, the Sgt Pepper's album is pretty much the main reason I bought Beatles to begin with, so it's been frustrating me that none of my friends have really had any interest in playing through it. Can't wait to pick up Abbey Road soon...

Pedro, sorry you missed it man, but I'll make an effort to pull you in for the Abbey Road run whenever that is.

I will say, this is a frustrating reminder of how badly I wish a group could do harmonies online. I'm in the same boat there, I've got two mics and no one to try to harmonize with.

I didnt think we would GS this songs considering it was my first time playing them. I played at low volume tonight so I never caught the disco beat of Complexity of Light (I definitely have to study it), but happily you carried us to the most epic gold stars of the night!

Xevren FCed You are Gonna Hear From Me...just wow.

RBN is awesome! I really hope PS3 users get it soon enough.
