I kinda know what you mean, but the better solution is:

Only show your highway during band play (checkbox)
How would you know when to activate OD all together? Or feel that sense of band play together?

I did a Photoshop once that I can't find, but my idea would be to have your highway the same size as it usually is, and then to the side show the other player's charts in reduced size, just enough so you can see when they use OD or have a lot of notes or whatever.

It wouldn't be hard to give you the info you need without giving the other players more screen space than the game gives you.

Given the state of the Guitar Hero games, and the decline in their popularity, should Neversoft give up the GH banner and make songs for the RBN.

We could get some of the decent Neversoft bands like Endless Sporadic.

I don't think it is extremely likely, but I would love to see it happen.

It could be sort of the way that Nintendo and Sega used to compete and Sega failed at consoles so they started just making games for Nintendo and other consoles.

I think it is a great idea.

I'd love to see some Endless Sporadic on RB, but I agree that's it's not very likely. At least not yet. GH still doing fairly well in sales. If and when it does happen though, I can imagine it being quite a hit on their charters' egos to have their charts rejected over and over again.

they´re free to do as they wish, however they have to pay the usual cuote as everybody if they want to enter into the RBN world, besides, their songs would be terrible overcharted lol.

Say what you like, but I LOVE their bass charting. They suck at toms, though.

There are quite a few songs from Neversoft bands I would love to have and a bunch of An Endless Sporadic songs I would love. Maybe after April we will start seeing some.

You two are literally copy/pasting a conversation from the RB forums.

smh
I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Even if it was just their 'house' bands, there's definitely some potential.

I could see some people from Neversoft that got laid off making an authoring group if they aren't soured on the plastic instrument genre of course.

Also Neversoft can probably chart better than a large majority of the stuff submitted for PR. Don't kid yourself.

I agree, Neversoft does fine.

Remember they are slaves to Activision right now.

inb4 "GO DIE FANBOI"

He's right, people, alot of the RBN charts are pretty terrible, and people on here just hate NS because they chart accurately.

ok, so lets say that HMX really work this 2 years on the future RB3, and lets say it will be the BOOM, so i may think this features and songs will appear in this game, please write any suggestions: (not gonna put any Beatles, Green Day, The Who songs cuz they have theyre own RB)

Features:
*Rock The Streets
Walk on the streets just like you do in San Andreas and that styles of games.
*Brand New Shop
New clothes, instruments, accesories, tattoos, hair styles and brand new amps, stage effects and live abilities (play solos moving your head ans that syles of things)
*NO DISCRIMINATION
A brand new channel for wii "Export Channel", with that channel there is a possibillity to export your songs of all RB's to RB3.
*Real And Fake
Real characters such as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Jimmy Hendrix, Mick Jagger, The Who, etc.
Fake Characaters that HMX must create.
Real and fake venues and cities too.
*Minigames
Like GH need minigames just to have fun with some different
*Drop In And Out, More Than 1 Instrument.
Drop in and out like GH5 and play with more than just a guitar, bass, vocals and drums
*New Instrument "XGuitar"
Than let you sing and play guitar at same time
*Band Carrer
Let you create songs, and albums (like LEGO Rock Band)
Customize your Rock Den (like LEGO Rock Band)
*Fight Against Your Heroes
In carrer fight against Hendrix, Beatles, Zeppelin, etc.

Show me these charts, because the majority of tracks that I have checked out had very good charts. Except that Descend Into the... song and that new guitar-only song, I have no problems with the tracks submitted to the RBN. Which is more than I could say about Neversoft (at least old Neversoft)

RockGamer has super high quality, nearly Harmonix-worthy. Mickstafa, TheAuthority, and RhythmAuthors are in the next tier of quality in my mind, and then it kinda drops off after that.

about submitting "The Bum Bum Song (Lonely Swedish)"? I searched and the search excludes short words so I was just searching for "green, song" and got no useful results. If not I will because I'd love for it to be available. I figured I'd ask before I did it.

What's wrong with that one?

ive gotten about 70 songs and i have found 99.99% of the stuff i bought to be what i would call hmx quality.....especially the larger charting groups do a great job

the only .01% i have found is the mixing on a couple songs is slightly quieter than hmx would do it but nothing that destroys game play.......overall the charting is really great

It's not fun. At all. The last solo (which didn't even need to be a solo) is just stupid. I really regret getting it, but it was only a buck so whatever. Chart wise in RBN I only have issues with this one due to that last solo garbage and Crushed Beyond Dust. Crushed is just a shitty chart, yes it would be difficult no matter what but it's possible not to make it so incredibly annoying in certain parts.

Speaking of awful things, the ads for the upcoming episode of Cold Case are promoting that they have music by Pink Floyd. Surely, if a crappy procedural is good enough for the Floyd...

The only problem I have with the Project Hate song is the tremelo chords and some of the chord changes. I just don't think it's accurate at all.

Now I remember Why I hate Let there be rock on drums.

I'm going trough all my songs on expert since I have not played any on an other setting since I had to replace my ps3 and so most have no score (trying to at least 5* all the 0-3 tier song) And let there be rock fucking killed my wrist, and I did not even got 5* (probably 4.95) aaaargh don't want to play it again

On another note I improved quite a lot of my score (about every song I played) and got some new GS as well. So I'm don e for the day due to LTBR but I'm happy

Kyuss is better than QOTSA and should be in RB.

If Welcome to Sky Valley is the best they could do then no, no they're not. If we're to get stoner rock in Rock Band I'd much rather we get Sabbath's Master of Reality instead.

The only Sabbath masters we're getting is the inevitable 3 pack of War Pigs, Paranoid and Iron Man. I wouldn't buy it.
