He is very vocal about what he believes in and supports it fully. I don’t see the world the way he sees it, but I have always respected his integrity.

I am actually going to see him play later this year, unless the concert gets postponed again

I love that album. And yes, his new voice adds a particular flavor to it.

Exciting to find actual fans of his solo career here. I've seen him live, and absolutely love some of his solo works (Pros & Cons; Amused to Death; and then his latest Is This The Life, which is surprisingly great). He's such a unique voice and lyricist.

My dad ( a huge Pink Floyd fan) recently went to one of Waters pink floyd concerts, expecting 2 hours of pink Floyd (and maybe some of his own) music.

What he instead got was two hours of Waters political ramblings set to Pink Floyd music, even showing a video about starving children or something when performing "Us and Them" (which the song of course has nothing to do about) and a video full of trumps tweets set to another song from "Dark side of the Moon".

He swore he would never go to any waters fronted concerts ever again...

David Gilmour is a godlike musician. Waters is a good musician with fantastic perspectives.

Fucking fantastic show, but sadly Waters wasn't in it (obviously).

To be fair, he was never the best bassist or singer... just a great songwriter.

I love them both. I used to be more of a fan of Gilmour back then, but Waters eventually won me over, and now I think they are at the same level of awesomeness.

Nobody is perfect. Don’t let his theatrics against American patriotism get to you. There is still a lot of wisdom in his lyrics.

I am not sure to which tour your dad went to, but his last one was just pure Floyd. Yeah, he played Pigs while mocking Trump, but I actually found it hilarious that even Waters suffers from TDS.
