Rounding out my GBA library -- Suggestions?

So I was thinking about rounding out my GBA line up and wondered if the wise sages at GAF would have any input or advice for me when it comes to selecting aome more GBA games.

What I own:

Advance Wars 2
Astro Boy: Omega Factor
F-Zero GP Legend
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Fire Emblem
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga
Metroid Fusion
Metroid: Zero Mission
Sword of Mana :(

What I'm looking at:

Castlevania:Ari of Sorrow
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Rebelstar: Tactical Command
Riviera
Tactics Ogre (only if I can find the cart and manual in good condition)

Any other suggestions? Titles I unfogivably neglected? Puzzle games? I tend to prefer strategy puzzle games as opposed to action puzzle games. Any good platformers other than the Mario remakes? I'm only looking to buy 2-3 at most and would prefer to buy new.

Riviera is really mediocre and boring. Just a warning.

Do you like action games? You should get Astro Boy and Ninja Five-O.
Noted! Riviera is outta here! I already have Astro Boy (second on my list).

I'm blind, sorry. Ninja might be hard to get new. Gradius Galaxies and the Wario Ware games are must own.

This is redundant, but...
Super puzzle fighter is a surprisingly excellent port.
Snood is great, but the gba game is dissapointing. No battery save for scores.
Wario anything.
The new Dr Mario/Panel de Pon cart (JP)
Yoshi's Island
Mario Kart

No much of an importer...How import friendly is Gurulogi Champ? I'm pretty weak speaking Japanese and reading is almost out of the question.

I fogot about the Kolona games. Those are fun but what's the likelyhood of finding them new? I don't know if I've ever seen 'em in stores.

Oh and is there much of a possibility of Tsuukin Hitofude getting a US release?

K2 just came out this year, you should be able to find it easily. K1 had a stealth reshipment at Target about a year ago too... you might get lucky and find it new at one.

Riviera has lovely artwork but it's very slow paced in combat and very text heavy. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea, I put it down and haven't gotten back to it (though maybe I will soon). I recommend the Stafy games, they are platformers in the Kirby vein, a little easy but lots of fun. Ninja Five-O is ball bustingly difficult but another great game, though a bit hard to find. I'll recommend Advance Guardian Heroes, I liked the game a lot, but then again I went in expecting the worst due to all the negative reviews. Just don't expect it to be comparable to the Saturn Guardian Heroes.

I can't read Japanese either but the menus (and even the story) are easy to figure out. Here some PC demos of the game: Demo A, Demo B, Demo C.

I'm not sure about Klonoa, but at least Klonoa 2 should still be available.

I'd buy this, but it's impossible to find now. :(

Minish Cap is the most important. :) FF: Dawn of Souls and Phantasy Star Collection are good bets. And people aren't lying about the Metroidvania games. If you dug the Metroid GBAs, you *will* love the GBA CVs. Only, the newer the better. (The first one was a little eh.) Those (plus what you mentioned) kind of cover the "Must-plays," but a lot of N-fans are going to spit out longer lists. :)

I agree. :)

You should get some more RPGs like Golden Sun 1/2 and Pokémon.
I haven't really been into turn-based RPGs since FFVII failed miserably to live up to the hype...Although I was eyeing the Golden Sun games, I'm still not sure if I want to.

CoM is the better one?

Golden Sun is really great. It shouldn't really be considered just a turn-based RPG because a lot of the game is to do with puzzle solving and dungeon clearing similar to Zelda for example. You can't go wrong with the two games - especially at the low prices you can pick them up for nowadays.

And as far as CV games go my favourite was AoS.

Don't do it!!!!

I wouldn't look so much into "rounding" your GBA library as much as you sticking with what it does best. GBA RPGs are garbage (aside from FE series). And although GBA excels in 2D, most companies settle for mediocrity with the system.

But I'd say to pick up a Megaman Zero title or Ninja Five-0. They're old school, quite good, and pack a challenge as well. Just the way I like 'em.

For strategic puzzle games, go for a Puyo Puyo title (Puyo Pop or Puyo Fever).

Don't believe the hype on Starfi. They're absolutely dull. I need to find a way to get rid of mine ~_~

Personally I found Minish Cap to be one of the weaker Zelda's but it's still a good game and definitely worth getting.

Any good platformers other than the Mario remakes?

Wario Land 4 is pretty much the best platformer released in the last 5 years or so.
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land and Klonoa 2are pretty good also..

No it's not. It's filled with terrible slow down and other awful problems. I say this only because Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is my all time favorite puzzle game tied with Tetris Attack, and the GBA game is just deficient. I long for a DS or PSP version :(

Anyway, here is the list of decent to good GBA games I got. Riviera is "decent", but Musashi is not wrong about it.

Advance Wars
Advance Wars 2
Astroboy: Omega Factor
Boktai
Boktai 2

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance

I just bought that Rebelstar Tactical Command game for $20... looked kind of interesting though I've never played any of the other X-COM games. I'll let you know how it is later today.
