Saw their show some 25 years ago in Vegas, and yes it was great.

These days it's hard to believe anything... but either way sad to see him go. A few guys at my work have it including the guy I worked with for days at a time... and no I haven't been tested and don't plan to be. I have so many allergies I could have had it and wouldn't even know it.

Was just going to post this. I saw their show when I was a little kid. My parents seen them come in to eat at an old local German restaurant too.
I lived in Vegas for over 30 years. I remember seeing them at The Frontier when I was little, then at the Mirage. I miss old Vegas and worry about the city making it out of this nonsense.

It sucks right now.

I think some bars and salons can start opening tomorrow but casinos are closed until at least June.

Also it might have been Frontier as well where I saw them. I was little.

Edit: also I don't know if you remember Ricardo's Mexican restaurant, but they're closing permanently after 40 years as a result of the lockdown.

if it's the one on Flamingo and Decatur, than yup, been there a bunch. I actually miss Robertos and their greasy quesadillas and their decent carne asada.

Saw them at the Mirage when I went to Vegas for my 21st birthday. That was in the late 90s.

75 isn't all that old, all things considered. I wonder if he had any other health issues that would make the virus more lethal?

He sure did: he was mauled by one of his tigers years ago, and had had major cerebral and motor disabilities since.

Thanks, I couldn't remember if it was him or Sigfried that was mauled.

He lived a further 17 years after that tiger attack.
That's a lot more than it looked like after that incident.

I thought he'd make it for a few years and that's it.
