It's official RSI site states that they reached 7 000 000 $. That's close to normal publisher budget for lower profile games and it's only 100 000 people.

We know that means. With each month people are more aware of crowdfunding and they like to spend money on kickstarter. Right now it's 100 000 people but next year ? who knows ? 200k ? 300k ?

I mean if this won't stop next year we probably will brake 10mln. Amazing time we live as gamers.

What are current typical budgets for AAA games ? 15-20mln ?

Yes. What is more important in my opinion is that this will go only to developers so no middle men like other non dev departament will get this cash
