But how, really, is he saying anything different than what you say here? While I agree that it's bizarre wording to say freedom is about authority, the ability to be free (a free people) does require IMO as minimal a conflict between your freedoms and the freedoms of others as possible--meaning as you say, an individual needs to relinquish Total Possible Freedom.

that isn't freedom..people bandy around the world to lightly...freedom is actually being able to to have as much choice as possible to do what you want..he is trying to redifine freedom...look the stooge can dictate a concept, but his concept of freedom was completely errenous. You are going to some lengths though... I dont necessarily think his meaning was as extreme as it came across, but the articulation was horrible
