Rez grooves to the PSP!
Matt Jarosz, 15 Hours ago
Earlier today, Shacknews revealed information claiming that SEGA, the original publisher of the Dreamcast and PS2 titles, has starting planning for a PSP version of the cherished Rez. They did not include specific details or exact sources, but Shacknews is a highly credible site, and many gamers around the globe have requested a re-release of the game.
Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the genius behind Rez, also created the hit PSP title Lumines. Since Lumines was such a great hit and deemed an "essential" PSP title, it is obvious that Mizuguchi will someday release another title for the portable. Rez has a huge fanbase and is VERY rare for the PS2, so re-releasing the title for the PSP would also be a wise money making strategy for Mizuguchi, will please PSP owners, and also attract new people to buy PSPs.
Rez, for gamers unfamiliar to the title, is a shooter set in a virtual space-like environment. Like with Lumines, music is a very important aspect, utilizing it to set the pace of the game. As the tempo and beat of the music changes, so does the gameplay and the actions of the player.
Although this announcement has not been made official by the designated SEGA representatives, the chances of its release are highly likely. Many gamers around the world will certainly be praying for its announcement; playing Rez while on-the-go would be an experience like no other.

Smells like bullshit to me, and the very worst kind, meaning stuff that's going to upset a very small, but dedicated fanbase. But if true... wow.
