So it took a damn Garmin, not an Apple Watch, to make me take off my mechanical watch and wear Garmin 24/7.

- I get running with pacing and all sorts of nice data fields
- I get two weeks battery life
- I get physical buttons that are easy to navigate so I don’t need to scroll the stupid small screen with my gloves or sweaty hands

Now I’m down the rabbit hole of Garmin watch reviews, that Enduro 2 or Instict 2 look mighty.

I hated my smartwatch because there are massive privacy implications

I don't wear a smartwatch anymore

I like my Apple Watch. I like the reinforcements & goals it gives. The stats and tracking work well enough for me. I like that I can choose how far down the rabbit hole I want to go. I also really like the Apple Fitness+ program.

If I started wearing a watch again, it would be something nice like a Rolex.

I did think about getting this, because I am a nerd.

I like my Galaxy Watch 4, for walking/biking long distances and ability to pay for water or any other drink non-alcoholic of course with Google Pay. They are cheap.
