The controller controls went from literally unplayable to actually my preferred way to play the game - so long as you're using the Dualsense, and not that gyro-free, clickety-clackety cheap-ass POS called an Xbox Series controller. The adaptive triggers give each and every weapon a unique trigger break, and that's amazing.
I actually totally winged a shot because I jerked too hard on the trigger. I was actually happy about it. That's just plain wonderful to experience, and it's actually one of the key innovations I was hoping to see (but never seemed to actually happen). They really leaned on the Dualsense controller's features. Beautiful.
Performance is better, which is great. Enemies are still bullet sponges, which is not so great. Guns are still generally rather wack, and the USP is a complete piece of trash, still (why?).
Overall, it actually feels close to a properly finished game. It's been a ride.
