Tomorrow I'm going to pick up this system from Sears. Just wondering if anyone has this model - anything i should know? Would like some comments from someone with experience with the system.

Why this one? Well, i read some amazon reviews and it seems to fit the bill for what i want - i need a home theater in a box, basically, with a DVD player. Gotta get it from sears cuz i got mad discountz, yo.

Here are the other systems Sears offers . My limit's under $300, and i would like a DVD player included - clearly Samsung's is the best for the money, right?

So i bought and put together this unit today, without the suggestions of GAF! I Guess no one had it.

It's really, really good. Setup is easy, for the most part. Speakers are color-coded. More importantly, it sounds GREAT. TDS in surround sound is everything i could have hoped for and more :tear: I'm using it as my computer speakers, too.

5 Disc DVD changer (supports DVD audio, CD, etc)

Progressive Scan (although i don't have the right hookups anyway)

As threads on GAF indicate, changers are tricky at best and violent at worst. But if this is your first surround system, congrats. Even the cheapest DTS/DD5.1 setup usually sounds like a big step above TV stereo output.
