Koei Corporation today announced that Samurai Warriors: Xtreme Legends, an expansion pack to Samurai Warriors, will be brought to North America exclusively for the PlayStation 2.
Developed by Omega Force, Koei's internal studio behind the successful Dynasty Warriors series, Xtreme Legends will introduce players to new characters and new chapters to the story of the Samurai Warriors. Additionally, new weapons, items and fighting skills will be attainable, and "along with new content, Samurai Warriors: Xtreme Legends also opens up the original game's character growth system for continued character development, so that players can create more powerful warriors."
Samurai Warriors: Xtreme Legends, which does not require the original game to be played, is scheduled for release in November.
