Saw Sam Jackson yesterday

I walked into the Starbucks near Urban Fair on the waterfront in Vancouver and Sam Jackson was there grabbing a coffee. He walked out and the guy at the till said he'd been in a few times that day already. Boy likes his coffee. He's in town shooting none other than the suspense thriller Snakes on a Plane otherwise known as Pacific Air Flight 121. He's a pretty tall guy and very thick looking.

About 2 weeks ago I saw Robin Williams in Electronics Boutique on In Pacific Center Mall buying games. He's also shooting R.V. in town.

That's pretty cool, I think he is a pretty avid gamer. Didn't he name his daughter Zelda after the video game?

he might be an avid gamer but I'll bet he was getting games for his kid/s.

The only celebrities i've ever spotted are Colm Meany at Disneyland and Muhammad Ali who visited my elementary school one day. Unless Jessica Simpson counts since I went to HS with her...

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

.I had the chance to meet mr. t at the mall once. but i said i'll wait a little later, i'll wait a little later. and when i finally got therer they said he had just left. then when I asked the security guard if he'd ever come back, he said he didnt know.

Robin Williams was wearing LA Camoflauge, a pair of sunglasses, black shirt, and black shorts. I don't know what he was buying from the one clerk while he asked the other clerk, who was on the phone but manning the computer, about a game called 1944 (probably Battlefield and he just got it screwed up). The clerk somewhat rudely said he'd help him when he got off the phone.

When he walked out I asked the other clerk if it was indeed Robin Williams because he looked and sounded bang on and the first clerk nodded his head and the 2nd clerk (the one who was on the phone) suddenly had a look of utter horror of his face.

Then Robin Williams knocked a magazine rack over.

Ok, I made that last part up but the rest is true.

I met Sam Jackson at the Sega Booth during business day TGS 2004.... Big guy, kinda a dick though.

But that adds to the mystique doesnt it.

He was at Magic Mountain a few years back with some group of actors. He was protesting how safe the rollercoasters were. He did not want to go on it. Held up the line for like 20 minutes. It was funny cause all he was doing was freaking out. It was great.

SAM where ever you be man dont freak out on rollercoasters.

Ha ha, didn't know that even existed. If he was asking for that game he must be pretty hardcore. What else is there to do between takes though. I've heard he has a house in Vancouver somewhere.

I've also heard Kurt Russell lives in Vancouver and shops on Granville Island but I don't know if that is true.

A few weeks back I was in 7-11 and the crew from Who's Line is it Anyway came in. No Drew Carey but Ryan Stiles, Colin Mockeri, and 2 others went in there to buy cigarettes. They then went across the road to the Westin Gran Hotel where I guess they were staying. They had just finished up a show at Granville Island a day or two earlier. No surprise really as I think they are all native Vancouverites anyway.

I was working at a store on Granville one day. Goldie Hawn walked in when I was on break and bought $10,000 worth of towels.

The only celebrities I've ever met were the actors who played Steve Urkel and Eddie on Family Matters who were shopping in the mall, there was also a couple of other guys who were with them that were probably their friends. There was a big crowd trailing them.

Wish I had known before but Bruce Campbell was at Chapters on Robson yesterday signing his new book "How to Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way."

Pisses me off that I didn't know he was going to be there.
