I've just recently acquired a NEC ND-3500AG to replace my failing 1300A. Now, I burn a lot of discs (typical geek stuff, if you must know) and I've been pondering if there was a decent method to keep the burner cool whilst it worked. I was thinking of sticking it in an extenal enclosure with a fan, but the increase in CPU load wouldn't be particularly desirable. Anyone have any ideas?

Just add water. Seriously though, it's probably at operating temp, no matter how warm it is. If you think it's too hot, call up tech support and ask them. PEACE.

As long as your case is being adequately cooled you shouldnt have to worry.
