Scored a C64 lot

I was fixing some PC probs at my grandparents house, and they told me they wanted to get rid of all this stuff, so I nabbed it up. It'll be my 3rd c64 computer, so no big deal there, but some new games. Besides, most of my games were pirate back in the day, and they had a lot of cartridges I didn't have. Plus, there was a Datassette! Something I always found interesting and wanted to toy around with.

I'm only gonna bother listing the original games:

Hardware:
C-64
1530 Datassette Unit
1541 Disk drive (now I have two! woo)
"Incredible Musical Keyboard" which fits overtop of the c-64 to make it look more like a music keyboard

Diskette:
Wheel of Fortune
Family Feud
Jeopardy
Temple of Apshai Trilogy
Knight Games (Which the label informs me it is on a "Flippy" Diskette, haha)

Carts:
Radar Rat Race
Congo Bongo
Kickman
Jupiter Lander
Music Composer
Music Machine

The rest is educational stuff :)

They also have an Oddysey 2, and a number of carts which I'd like to get someday.

Oh well, not a super haul but a few nice things, the second 1541 and the datasette are cool to have :)

PS - I now have extras of Kickman and Radar Rat Race, so if anybody wants em, let me know.

C64 was life. Kids grew up with NES, I grew up with C64 and a Master System to boot. Of course I had countless friends with NES' :D

When I first started playing games with my brother, I used to play his Colecovision and NES when I was like 4 or 5. And then he bought a SNES later on, and I played that a lot and it became mine eventually.. I think the N64 is what really took my gaming to a whole new level, especially multiplayer games with my friends and such..

I loved my colecovision. I had that, a 2600, and my C64 in my earliest gaming days. Always wanted a SMS, but I picked one up later when I got older :)

I almost picked up a Master System that I saw earlier this year at this local game shop. It didn't look in great condition, and I think it was being sold for $20-$30 and I didn't feel like paying for it at the time, so.. eh.. :P Although my fiancee did pay around $40 for my Virtual Boy with two games about a year or two ago.. heh..

Radar Rat Race :D :D :D :D :D

doo-doo-doo-da-da-doo-doo-dee-dee

Nice little haul you've got there (the original games you listed) and messing about with the datasette will provide you with literally hours of loading fun! You haven't lived until you've loaded a game off tape.

Jupiter Lander was one of the first games I played on C64, great stuff. =) Now you have to find some tapes to have some real fun. Novaload, turbo tape etc. :P
