Looks not too bad, but IMHO looks too slow and overcomplicated. Also a bit junkie, but for a low budget arcade racer could not be a big problem.

I'm for keep things simple in arcade games, all these mechanics don't add much and remember me of the new Doom games, where I'd just like to move and shoot, but I've to keep in mind tons of little boring mechanics.
