Link (Wesley Crusher to the rest of you) was telling me to watch some episode from Season 3 for awhile so I watched Season 1 and Season 2 before that just to see how this show is and god damn is this show funny. I cant believe I missed this show for 3 years, shocks me. I love the scenes with JD and the Janitor (and sometimes the sloppy joe guy) and JD with Dr. Cox, just funny stuff. Season 4 starts on Tuesday so I should finish up these season 3 eps, watch it! Tuesday! WATCH IT!

Damn, the new season starts on Tuesday? The summer flew by.

Scrubs is my favorite TV show. Yeah, sometimes it seems a little forced, but overall it's genious. And every episode has great music.

Watch Scrubs!

Yep, great show. My favorite right now.
I watched a few here and there in the first 2 season and never really got it.
But season 3 just clicked. I went back and watched the first two, and absolutely loved all of them.

My favorite episode is "MY Old Lady", follow closely by the one with Brendan Fraiser.

yeah the commerical looks awesome for tonights Season Premiere. Where Elliot and Heather Grahms character are talking about something, and Elliot is like Do you want me to rub cream on your thighs, and every male in the cafeteria stops what they are doing and looks at them, and then like one guy comes out of the ceiling.

THis is my favorite comedy on TV. So glad they are starting the new season sooner rather than later.

Yep, this show rocks. It's the only thing I really watch on network television. I really like how there's no laugh track, keeps things far more natural and they can fit more in. I can't stand normal sitcoms where you watch the actors take long pauses to make room for the laughter.

One of my favorite episodes has to be the second one with Brendan Fraser, if only because of Ted's quartet singing the Underdog theme song. That bit is just fantastic.

Psyched. Is Tara Reid gone? She was the only bad thing last season.

Pretty sure she is gone. After she did her stint, she was just used during sweeps or any time that they needed to move the JD/Elliot story along. I wouldnt be surprised though if you see her pop up this season, once in a while that is.

Where's the love for The Todd?

The Todd is one of the greatest characters on that show.

The Todd is not feeling the love!

I downloaded and watched every episode starting at the end of July till just recently.

3 (seasons) x 22 (episodes) x 21 (minutes) = 1386 (minutes) / 60 = 23.1 hours of Scrubs

Good stuff. Big fan now. But unfortunately it's harder to remember episodes because everything kind of blends together.

Haha, I watched all 3 seasons in like 2+ weeks (Started in early August). Great stuff, finished just in time for the season premier.

The first season had 24 episodes, so you watched just a hair shy of 24 hours of Scrubs.

The DVD's wont be out until they sell the show into syndication would should take place in a year or so

That sounds about right, I think the rules for syndication are that the show make it to 100 episodes. I remember a few actors saying that after their shows went into syndication. I guess that will happen sometime next year.

I'll be watching the season premiere tonight. Damn, I better go to the grocery store now so I don't miss it.

24, Alias, Smallville, CSI, CSI Miami, Everwood, Will & Grace, Survivor...

So tell me what Syndication has to do with anything.

It could be that's how things are run on NBC? I dont' know.
Notice all those show are not from NBC? Except for Will&Grace, which came after the show was syndicated.

Or maybe NBC is just bad when it comes to releasing DVDs of its shows.

CSI is in Syndication on Spike TV, if you want to get technical.

Far too often, I missed Scrubs last season. Caught it tonight, and laughed my ass off. And it's on nice and early here in Canada, and I'll get it on my Antenna (I'm not paying $50 a month for Basic Cable in my Dorm Room) so it'll be on my Tuesday schedule, for sure.

my Tivo never records this show for some reason.
Have you checked the Season Pass settings to make sure they're correct? Also, is the SP ranked high enough so something else doesn't record instead?

I thought tonight's episode was okay. I was annoyed when it seemed like they were going to change everything (less Dr. Cox, no more janitor pranks).....then I was annoyed when they revealed that they weren't going to change everything. What a whiny fickle bastard I am.

Heather Grahm's character sucks ass so far. Lamest guest star ever. What happened to the megabitch surgeon from the end of last season? I liked her far better.

Ugggh, it's not any kind of hard-and-fast rule. It's just something that seems to be kind of exclusive to NBC Shows (Will & Grace has been in syndication for nearly a year now, as have older DVD dramas like ER and Law & Order). Straight from Zach Braff's blog:

This is a Garden State blog, but I feel I must address this question since it is the most asked question in my life:

Why didn't they just kill Gilligan?

No, not that. THE SCRUBS DVD?????? When is the Scrubs DVD coming out?

The answer... please spread the word and tell anyone who cares... is that Touchstone TV wants to wait until they sell the syndication rights to the show before they release the DVDs. As soon as that happens they will come out. Hopefully that will happen this season. Thanks for being patient. I know it's weird to watch everything else that's ever been on TV come out like:

ALF - puppet or prophet.

Screech - his story.

Land of the Lost - searching for Sleestacks.

I'd like to make a series of videos like "Girls Gone Wild", but it's called "Girls Gone Crazy". On my show girls don't flash their chests, they're quite literally Girls who've Gone Crazy. We see video of them stabbing each other with pens, urinating on cars, calling mailboxes "Lucifer" and other fun stuff like that.

Yeah, great episode. And I liked how the set the stage for JD being a new doctor. Should be an interesting plotline.
What happened to the megabitch surgeon from the end of last season? I liked her far better.
She's missed three other episodes during her run. It's possible that she just wasn't relevant, considering that Turk didn't even work at all.

Or maybe they conveniently let her loose.

Last night's episode was funny, but also straight-up predictable and rather inconsequential. All of the characters ended up the same as they started, except perhaps JD. He supposedly learned something, but I fully anticipate that just like in past seasons, his lessons will be almost forgotten by the next episode and he'll be back to being showy with his money and trying to one-up Elliot in their job positions.

On the upside, next episode features
Rowdy
in a big role, which should be fun.

Scrubs is awesome. Add me to the list of folks who downloaded and watched the whole run in a couple of weeks, because I did that a couple of weeks ago :)

Dr. Cox and Ted are my favourite characters, though I'm also a big fan of Elliot's breasts, which get an awful lot of airtime in seasons 1 and 2 (she gets her shirt off every 3-4 episodes then, seriously). But yeah, I love Ted. That bit where his band was singing UNDERDOG while JD was walking to Brendan Fraser's room was classic.

And my favourite episode has to be the Brendan Fraser one in Season 3. Just so well done.

The Todd fucking rules.

When he was out posing for the City Planners I almost lost it.
