Scrubs or NewsRadio? (DVDs)

Okay, i'm sure I enjoy both shows, but haven't really watched enough of either. Scrubs I would only catch every once in a while during the early seasons, and NewsRadio I have only seen a few times.

Both have new dvds out that are about the same in price and i'm thinking about picking up one or the other tomorrow... probably both eventually. Fans of the shows, which is the better choice to go with first?

Rough choice, but I would go with Newsradio if only because it has pretty much finished its run in syndication and there aren't episodes airing anymore (though it might be on some obscure satellite A&E channel). Scrubs on the other hand is just about to go into syndication (probably after next season or next fall) so you will be able to catch old episodes that way.

Better to buy the one that is harder to find on TV :D

Strap on your hooker ...
Scrubs.

As good as Newsradio is at times, it still feels like a pretty standard sitcom at the core. Scrubs should be rewarded for breaking conventions. Of course, it's a great show, too.

Oh man thats a tough one. I'd go with News Radio though. Because you are prolly gonna start to see Scrubs in alot of syndication. Oh and Phil Hartman was the funniest man on the planet.

NewsRadio is my favorite sitcom ever. I already bought Scrubs on DVD last week, and NewsRadio will join it tomorrow.

Scrubs, if only because right now the series is still going strong. I would buy News Radio, but stop as soon as the "Lovitz" era started.

As much as I love News Radio there are some comedians on that show that really piss me off (Andy Dick). Scrbus is hilarious, I love all the characters, and Zach Braff is the man.

+1 Scrubs

Newsradio rulez #1

Mostly, not entirely, but mostly due to Phil Hartman.

The episode where Jimmy James gets has the Japanese version of his book translated back into English (because it sold better in Japan) and then reads it for an audience is probably my favorite. It had Ron Jeremy in it too.

I had a small house of brokerage on Wall Street... many days no business come to my hut... my hut... but Jimmy has fear? A thousand times no. I never doubted myself for a minute for I knew that my monkey strong bowels were girded with strength like the loins of a dragon ribboned with fat and the opulence of buffalo... dung.

...Glorious sunset of my heart was fading. Soon the super karate monkey death car would park in my space. But Jimmy has fancy plans... and pants to match. The monkey clown horrible karate round and yummy like cute small baby chick would beat the donkey.

Newsradio all the way. The early Scrubs was great, but Newsradio is godly.

Found Scrubs today for 26 bucks so I went with that. NewsRadio is 30 at Best Buy this week though, so I'm going to try to get over there at somepoint. Seems pretty split here, so why not go for both.

Newsradio is the funniest sitcom EVER.

When FOX ran the simpsons and newsradio back to back in a two hour block daily I was in heaven.

-Favorite Moments - Cast and crews reflections
-Outtakes - Funniest Scrubs flubs
-Deleted Scenes - Clips that wound up on the O.R. floor

I don't think that's the bonus disc. Best Buy has an exclusive disc that doesn't come in the box...

Oops, just noticed it saids the same thing on the regular DVD case too.
