It's been known for weeks now. It was in the latest Edge (I think), where Itagaki stated that the game would not be playable at the TGS because they wanted to finalize the gameplay at the last moment by inviting some of the top DOA players in Japan for a play test and tweaking the game with them.

Huh, didn't know that. That's some REALLY fucking last minute tweaking though.
