Supermodel got a big update with a UI for Sega Model 3 emulation making one of the best emulators even better, Dolphin got a big overhaul bringing better performance and stability to GameCube and Wii emulation, MAME gave us near to perfect Hyper Neo Geo 64 audio, MegaLD and LDRom2 games now emulate in Ares saving people who want to play LaserDisc games on the LaserActive like $3000+ on real hardware and games, Teknoparrot got full PS3 arcade support for Namco 357 and 359 games, Ymir improved Saturn emulation again, SkyEmu for GB/GBC/GBA/DS got some hefty fixes and updates as well...and a ton more

Really feels like we are in the middle of the second golden era of emulation

I was pretty impressed by Ymir. I think it may have the most even sound emulation of any existing Saturn emulator. The way it interpolates the interlaced video is also great.

Not to forget, Xbox and Xbox 360 emulation is also getting better and better. And I have a feeling that PS4 emulation will really take off soon.
