Several EA Codemasters titles have been delisted from Steam

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
The following titles have been delisted:
  • Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
  • Toybox Turbos
  • Rise of the Argonauts
  • Maelstrom: The Battle for Earth Begins
  • Damnation
  • Hospital Tycoon
Earlier, it was reported that some games would be leaving EA Play, including Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, with a removal date of March 14—the same day it was delisted from Steam.

The Codemasters games are constantly disappearing for good from digital game stores so it's not a surprise. Buy them as soon as possible when they are on sale.

wonder why
Maybe just something about updating the license and then they'll upload them again.
OR maybe they didn't work properly anymore in modern versions of Windows and need to be updated (IF someone will bother doing it).

P.S. For anyone wondering, "delisted" doesn't mean these games get removed from your library if you already own them. It means you can't buy them anymore as a new customer.

It sucks to delist old games for reasons other than licensed music... and I'm pretty sure that games like Hospital Tycoon didn't have any.

Thank God for piracy then cuz' lord knows these companies give no fucks about us or the preservation of their products.

Damnation,Rise of the Argonauts and Operation Flashpoint are worth playing.

They ain't perfect games or even great games one can argue but they represent an era of videogames that was still driven by ambition and passion and they have very unique identities which is not something I can say about the AAA slop that's droping out of publishers assholes nowadays.

I remember trying so hard to extract fun out of that OpFlash. Despite many many attempts, I found very little success.
