It was cheap and had pretty good performance at the time (also a really loud speaker)

Now I have a Samsung S8.

My first phone was this bad boy
motorola-ihdt5uv1-cell-series-dpc550-vintage-1990s-cell-phone-3.35__79930.1490088616.jpg

Notable phones after that were the Razor flip phone.
Blackberry perl.
The Droid original
Iphone 3g
and since iphone 7 i've stayed with them.

I've had plenty of phones in between the ones listed, those were just the ones that topped the pack.

My first one was the iPhone 3g. I had iPhone for years until switching to the Note years ago.

I just upgraded to the Samsung fold 2 about two months ago and I'm in love. As someone who likes to read, watch YouTube, and use their phone for work (PA at a hospital)this phone is amazing and I will never go back to a traditional smartphone again.

My first smartphone was the T-Mobile Mytouch 4G. Phone I currently have is the Blackberry Priv.

Side by side specs (Mytouch vs Priv)

And as a bonus, this is the phone I'll be replacing my Priv with, the F(x)tec Pro 1 X. It's not scheduled to be manufactured and shipped out until March or April, so it's not my current phone...yet. I chose to have mine shipped with Android pre-installed and 8GB of RAM / 256GB storage space.

As you can tell, I'm big into qwerty keyboard phones.

Got the OG iPhone in 2007 and am on an iPhone 11 right now. The 11 is the first iPhone I’ve had since the original. Went to the palm pre then Android after that. Got tired of the horrible battery life and crap resale value of android and switched to the iPhone 11.

How is Apple already on the freakin 12.

I bought my XS Max 2 years ago and I'm planning to keep it for a long ass time.

Love this kind of thread.

My first smartphone is the Nokia N82. It felt revolutionary back then being able to connect WiFi with it, having a GPS, browsing internet with Edge and having a 5mp Carl Zeiss camera.

Now I'm using a Samsung S10+, don't really see a need to upgrade as it's still speedy with a capable camera.

Back then mobile phone was so exciting while it evolves, remembered I had some of the likes of T610(first decent color screen and camera), K750i, Nokia 6670(semi smartphone) and iPhone 4(first real proper smartphone)

Then there were crazy cool high end phones like the P900i and n95 that I couldn't afford

My full phones history
Nokia 3310
Nokia 8250
Sagem my-x5
SE T610i
SE K750i
Nokia 6670
Nokia n82
IPhone 4
HTC One X
One Plus One
Samsung S7 Edge
Samsung Note 8
Samsung S10+

I've had 4, all of them were entry-level models made for the 3rd world market.

My current one is a Samsung A01

Pretty barebones, kinda bad camera, 3000mah battery, 720p-ish screen resolution... but hey, it works, run some games in low/medium quality, very usable... if converted to dollars, the price would be around $125 USD... works for me.

- OG 8GB iPhone (first and last iPhone I ever owned)
- Nexus One (first Android phone of many)
- Pixel 5 (latest and greatest)

Are Blackberryies considered smartphones? If not, then Iphone 3 i believe was the first.

Current phone is an Iphone X. 5k songs and counting in itunes, ain’t dropping that!
You're pretty much stuck with Apple for the rest of your life it seems. 5k songs!? Dang!!!

don’t remember exactly what my first phone was, it was a slide phone and my dad dropped our lines a few months after buying them because my sister had a over the limit bill of $300 for just one month of talk/text.

a year or two later my mom put me on her line and the next phone was my first smart phone (an LG optimus)
LG-Optimus_S-sprint-purple-main-sm.jpg

And now I have an iPhone 11 Pro max

Motorola Milestone aka Droid back in 2011. Having an actual keyboard with the screen slide up was a game changer for me since it made texting insanely faster as opposed to a fliphone that I was using prior. A whopping 133 MB of storage and 256 MB of RAM.

Now, I'm rocking a Sony Xperia 1ii since August and while It's not easy to get their phones up here in Canada anymore, I've been a fan since my first one back in 2013, the Xperia ZL, which was my successor to the Milestone, and will stick with Sony as long as they keep making them. Adore the design and simpleness of them. 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM.

Eager to see what their next phones bring in the coming years.

Many “Whelps”! Handle It!
My first was a hand-me-down G1 iPhone with a slight crack in the corner of the screen.

My current is an iPhone 11 Pro.

I'm nothing if not consistent.
