I just finished Shenmue II again (this time on Xbox, the voice acting sure sucks, DC version FTW), and decided to go see if there was anything new with the website. I went on Shenmue.com, and here I'm greeted with a Domain Name Renewal page. Apparently, the domain expired 10 days ago, and is pending renewal or deletion. I wonder what this means, if anything at all. If Sega had any plans for Shenmue in the future, surely they wouldn't let Shenmue.com slip away.

Yes we did. It all still stands. If there is any confusion please read the article again. Also search GAF for newer information on the matter.

Sega is consolidating tonnes of game-specific domains by the looks of it, this has no bearing on any Shenmue development.
