About the Demo
This is a free demo version of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. You can play the beginning of the full version, and the save data you create in this demo version can be used to continue playing the full version with the same story and character status.
(Regarding the save data, the full game will automatically recognize and load save data from the demo. Please note that if you play the demo after playing the full version, the save data for the full version may be overwritten.)
When a grisly murder scene in modern-day Tokyo blocks our protagonist’s walk home, an unplanned detour leaves him buried and unconscious. He awakens in a new Tokyo, a wasteland ravaged by apocalypse now called Da’at. After wandering around, he suddenly runs into a mysterious man and fuses with him, becoming a mighty demigod known as a “Nahobino.”
Battle through a decimated Tokyo, reduced to an expansive wasteland and overrun by mythical demons. Roam across wide, open areas and explore new locations for life-saving items or encounter a multitude of demons to battle or befriend as allies, including dozens of newly added demons to this game.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance features two story paths to choose from, an engaging battle system, hundreds of demons to battle and recruit, and many areas to explore. The content can be enjoyed by players of all skill levels, from newcomers to veterans.
In this demo version, you can explore the vast opening region and experience many elements of gameplay found throughout the story.
Choose between two story paths, the brand-new story “Canon of Vengeance” or the original story from Shin Megami Tensei V “Canon of Creation.” Explore a post-apocalyptic Tokyo, now reduced to an expansive wasteland called Da’at. Challenge up to four story bosses and about 20 subquests! Up to six demon-infested obstacles to overcome to unlock more godly abilities. You will encounter many demons to recruit into your party to create the ultimate team.
Kinda out of the blue, but if it puts more eyes on SMTVV, then I'm all for it. Here's the link to the demo on Steam:
