I'm glad now that I didn't get my hopes up for a real Shining Force game. I wonder how many of these spinoffs are going to have to bomb before Sega gets the message?

Just glancing over the article, it seems to be using the same systems from Shining Tears...cept they have a war mode and an adventure mode, with the war mode sounding more like Tears.

BTW, how was Neo? Never did try it.

Graphics look really nice, remind me of a Gust game... But I'd still love for a true SRPG Shining Force, the originals are some of the best SRPGs ever.

I actually liked shining tears ( so repetitive though... ), so as long as they kept the 2-player mode I look forward to this.

What's interesting to me is that this one is turn based. It has the standard "Attack, Defend, Cover, Run, Auto" menu on page 3.
