I was looking at this TV:
It's on for 2k + you get a $300 gift card and I thought that sounded like a pretty decent deal for a 34" widescreen. I started shopping around and the most expensive US price I could find:
$1400 us + exchange = 1,703.63 CAD
And that's the most expensive price I could find. Notice how $1700 + $300 gift card = $2000?
I did see it online for $1029 + exchange = $1,253.06 CAD which is a hell of a good price for 34" widescreen tv, IMO.
Anyway, it's sad that Future Shop's (owned by best buy) SALE price is $300 more then the highest US price. Canadian buyers beware.
